Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026
This policy explains how GigXP Studio Ltd (“GigXP”, “we”, “our” or “us”) handles personal data when you visit gigxp.studio or contact us. We are the data controller for that data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are
GigXP Studio Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (Company No. 17298046), registered office 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA, United Kingdom. You can contact us about privacy at website@gigxp.studio.
2. What we collect
- If you email us: your name, email address and anything you choose to include in your message.
- When you visit the site: our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information in server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the date and time. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure.
The site has no forms or accounts, and we do not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or social media plugins. Fonts and all other files are served from our own domain, so visiting the site does not share your data with third parties such as Google.
3. How and why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and provide support. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To operate, protect and troubleshoot the website (server logs). Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
We do not sell your personal data or use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Who we share it with
We only share personal data with service providers who help us run our business, such as our website host and email provider, under contracts that require them to protect it. We may also disclose data if required by law. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement/Addendum.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, and generally for no longer than 24 months afterwards. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short period (typically no more than 30 days) unless needed to investigate a security issue.
6. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate data;
- ask us to delete your data;
- ask us to restrict how we use your data;
- object to our use of your data based on legitimate interests;
- receive your data in a portable format, where applicable.
To exercise any of these rights, email website@gigxp.studio. We will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113, although we would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
7. Children
This website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
8. Our apps
This policy covers the gigxp.studio website and enquiries sent to us. Before any GigXP app is made available, this policy will be updated (or a separate app privacy notice published) to describe the data that app collects and how it is used.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it was last changed.
